CIMC Construction’s Shenzhen Sungang Middle School Project has been successfully selected as a Guangdong Province's Future City New Technology Application Typical Case. The honor was presented at the Guangdong Future City Conference 2024.
This award, organized by the Guangdong Provincial Department of Housing and Urban-Rural Development, aims to cultivate new quality productive forces in the housing and construction field, promote innovative cases of city construction and governance with demonstrative effects and potential, and drive high-quality development of cities in Guangdong Province.
After a rigorous process involving document reviews, on-site inspections, and other procedures, 14 typical cases of future city construction and 14 typical cases of new technology application in future cities were announced.
The Shenzhen Sungang Middle School Project is located in Luohu District, Shenzhen, China, with a construction area of 4541.04㎡, a height of 17.92 meters, and adopts a stack-box-frame steel structure (prefabricated) form with an assembly rate of over 91%. It used 77 modules and was completed and delivered in only 169 days, meeting the AAA-level prefabricated building standards.
The application process spanned several months, involving material preparation, submission, defense, and inspection.
